About Us

Park Avenue Urogynecology offers comprehensive care for pelvic health conditions in women living in and around the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York. Dr. Soo Kwon, a fellowship-trained and Board-certified urogynecologist, has been treating women's pelvic floor disorders for over 20 years using the latest modalities and advanced surgical techniques.

Dr. Kwon and the staff at Park Avenue Urogynecology understand how difficult it is for women to discuss their pelvic health issues. They spend time listening carefully to patient needs to identify the treatment options that best fit the condition. The practice also features on-site diagnostic testing services to ensure patients receive the answers they need without leaving the office.

To treat pelvic floor disorders, Dr. Kwon offers customized treatment plans for various conditions, including bladder control, urinary incontinence, interstitial cystitis, and urinary tract infections. Her armamentarium includes medications, pelvic floor exercises, and lifestyle modifications as well as outpatient procedures.

As a board-certified vaginal reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Kwon is also recognized for her extensive experience for treating pelvic organ prolapse (vaginal bulge). She performs minimally-invasive surgical treatment, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, as well as natural orifice vaginal surgery. She has treated thousands of patients with these techniques.

Dr. Kwon is an expert in the treatment of vaginal mesh complications. These complex problems require very specific skills, which Dr. Kwon has acquired through the years.

If you need help managing your female pelvic floor disorders, including urinary leakage, urgency/frequency problems or bladder pain, vaginal bulge or vaginal looseness, schedule an appointment with Dr. Kwon, Park Avenue Urogynecology today.
